C.N.I.P.A. Puglia is a non-profit corporation that provides vocational training to enterprises, crafts and the tertiary sector. It collaborates with firms on request and with the government of Apulia Region and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies on the basis of an agreement.
Thanks to its entrepreneurial organization, the association operates both on a national and an international level.

Development lines, values, goals
Entrepreneurial organization, efficient financial management and constant improvement are the defining principles of CNIPA Puglia activities that make of it something different from a mere educational body involved in professional training.

Its changing-oriented strategy considers innovation a strong point. Besides vocational training, career guidance and research studies, the association operates work integration thanks to expert partner’s collaboration, proper facilities, modern management systems and new technologies.

Activities and services
According to Apulia Region principles of accreditation for professional bodies, CNIPA Puglia operates four macro typology interventions:

FORMATIVE OBLIGATION
As provided for by the 144/99 Act, with reference to vocational training and traineeship in engineering, electric, textile and general industries.

HIGHER EDUCATION
Education for people in search of employment after formative obligation, with special attention to the field of higher technical education

CONTINUATIVE EDUCATION
Continuative education concerning territorial and corporate formative offers addressed to employees, working partners of cooperative societies, small entrepreneurs, artisan business partners, people momentarily out of work.

SOCIAL DISADVANTAGE AREA
The corporation, sensitive to the needs of disadvantaged people, offers its services to drug-addicted people, alcoholics and ex-prisoners, prisoners, immigrants and refugees.
Since 2000, CNIPA Puglia has implemented an international formative offer addressed particularly to Italians and Apulians living abroad which concerns:
EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS FOR ITALIANS LIVING IN EXTRA-EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security for a sum not exceeding 1,400,000€.
INTERVENTION FOR APULIANS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, funded for a sum not exceeding 150,000€ by Apulia Region and Councillorship for migration flows (Regional Law 23/2000) within 2006, 2007 and 2008 Plans.
For the execution of its activities, CNIPA Puglia has seven offices in the major cities of the Region approved by municipal council. They observe all the hygienic, safety and functionality standards, and the classrooms and laboratories are complete with all the necessary equipments for teaching activities and with facilities for people with handicaps.
